It has undergone constant upgrades to ensure that it stays at the cutting edge of military technology. M1A2s were introduced in 1992, developed to be chock-full of front-line technology and bring the M1 into the digital age. They featured depleted uranium armor, a modified commander’s cupola, Intravehicular Information System (IVIS), Commander’s Independent Thermal Viewer (CITV) turret and a new style vision block, and much more! M1A2’s played a significant role in Operation Iraqi Freedom, being deployed by land forces as they moved toward Baghdad in 2003. 【Operates the world’s most advanced U.S. main battle tank!】 This large-scale, Big Tank Series R/C model assembly kit recreates the formidable modern U.S. Main Battle Tank M1A2 Abrams. This model features a fearless appearance with a 44-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun mounted in flat turret. This model can be controlled to move forward and backward, turn left and right, as well as turn the turret or raise and lower the gun barrel. Even the rear of the gun barrel and body recoil when firing are reproduced. Multi-Function Unit is made up of turret and vehicle control units. It allows control of various movements via separately sold transmitter. These functions include turret rotation and gun elevation. Also a range of realistic sound and light effects (headlights, taillights, barrel flash) are paired with model actions. Gun barrel control system can train the main gun in a single direction, which it remains pointed in even as the tank moves or climbs, and the turret rotates. Compatible with the Battle System (Item 53447) for fun and interactive battles with friends! The main gun is controlled by a dedicated servo to move up and down up to approximately 15 degrees in elevation and 5 degrees in depression. Operating speed of turret can be adjusted via the transmitter and can be stopped at any desired position. In addition, utilizes traverse (deck clearance function) is also provided. Orange LEDs is installed in the clear parts of the muzzle to reproduce barrel flash, synchronized with the powerful firing sound. Recoil action is also simulated. The M2 heavy machine gun mounted on a cupola support rack, rangefinders, CITVs, Commander’s hatch, and smoke discharger are also impressive. The 7.62mm coaxial machine gun on the right side of the main gun has an orange LED muzzle flash in sync with the intermittent firing sound. White LEDs illuminates the headlight as well as slit-shaped BO (blackout) markers used for light control. The tail light in the housing consists of a tail light that also serves as a brake light, a slit-shaped BO tail light, and a BO brake light below it, which can be turned on in accordance with operation. Aluminum gun barrel included. bushel rack at the rear of the turret and engine room upper armore are also featured with photo-etching parts . The chassis is powered by a gearbox with 540-size motors. Delivers powerful driving from low to high speeds with ample power. Lower hull, suspension arms, drive sprockets and more, are featured with metal parts for excellent durability. Durable resin pre-assembled tracks feature metal pins and connectors. In addition to the turret swivel unit and recoil unit, the turret is equipped with a mechanical deck where the servo for barrel up/down, receiver, turret control unit, and battery (sold seperately) are centrally located.
