+ In the Middle of the Action This R/C model assembly kit recreates the NSX Concept-GT, a car run by Team Kunimitsu in the GT500 class of the Japanese 2014 Super GT race series. The polycarbonate body expertly recreates the low-nosed form of the car, with complex front and rear end shapes, while separate parts recreate the unique side mirrors. Stickers are included to realistically depict markings, logos, front grille and even lights. The model is based upon the shaft-driven 4WD TB-04 chassis, which is fitted with black 10-spoke wheels and 24mm width racing slick tires. The TB-04: Efficient Shaft Driven 4WD with Excellent Handling The TB-04 is an efficient shaft-driven 4WD touring car chassis which also offers its drivers crisp handling, as its main frame has a low center of gravity while reducing contact with the track surface to a minimum. The layout places the battery pack longitudinally on the right with the motor horizontally in the left-rear for superior stability during acceleration. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension employs CVA oil dampers, with an inboard front suspension (IFS) setup. The long steering tie-rod system refined on the TRF417 chassis provides optimized Ackerman steering for on-road racing, while an aluminum propeller shaft and full ball bearings ensure smooth transmission of power, along with front and rear gear differential units. ★Efficient drivetrain features full ball bearings, plus aluminum propeller shaft and motor plate. ★Inboard Front Suspension (IFS) setup allows the combination of the TB-04 and low-nosed bodies. ★Front and rear gear differentials ensure that the TB-04 moves swiftly and with precision. ★The bathtub type frame reduces contact with the driving surface through turns to a minimum. ★Features a dedicated space for AMB transponders, which can be attached from the underside. ★The shaft-driven 4WD chassis is powered by a horizontally-positioned motor for stability under acceleration.
