The latest competition touring car, the MS1.0, that speed category racers have been waiting for, is now available! The prototype has already won races, proving its performance as a definite upgrade. The suspension is generally flexible, but the reduction of unsprung weight and alignment settings enable responsive driving. The A-type upper arm newly adopted in the MS1.0 is an easy-to-adjust integrated resin type, and a turnbuckle adjustment type that allows you to freely change the alignment is also available as an option. In addition, the lightweight graphite lower arm, slim upper deck, and new Yokomo shock and spring settings provide a flex setting that sticks to the road surface. The graphite main chassis specification can be adapted to various road surfaces. Main Specifications ■New graphite main chassis ■New graphite upper deck ■New graphite front and rear shock towers ■New graphite front and rear lower suspension arms ■New front and rear upper arms ■New oil dampers ■New damper springs ■New aluminum motor mount ■New aluminum front and rear bulkheads ■New aluminum upper bulkheads ■New aluminum servo mounts *The photo is an example of assembly. *The kit does not include 2-channel radio control set (transmitter, receiver, speed controller, servo), battery (Li-po 2 cells), charger, motor, tires, wheels, pinion gear (64 pitch), touring car body, polycarbonate paint, etc. Please purchase separately. *The kit does not include body, wheels, tires, motor, batteries ,pinion gear, and other R/C electrics. The suspension features a newly adopted upper and lower A-arm. The damper attachment increases the degree of freedom, and the lever ratio can be changed to achieve smooth suspension operation. The standard upper arm is a one-piece resin type that is easy to set up, and a turnbuckle adjustment type that allows free alignment setting is also available as an option. The motor mount and upper deck are also newly designed and adjusted to suit the characteristics of the suspension. The upper deck in particular has a simple and slim shape, and is flexible, taking advantage of the flexibility and resilience of the graphite material. The steering bell crank is now hung from the servo mount. By removing the post from the main chassis, the inherent flex of the chassis is utilized, and the movement of the bell crank is not affected by the flex of the main chassis, allowing for smoother steering operation. The motor mount is slightly slimmer. The motor slit in the main chassis requires less milling than previous models, improving chassis rigidity. The new graphite front and rear suspension arms are made of 2.4mm thick material. They are more flexible than before and have better road-following ability, and the change in shock lever ratio has made the suspension operation more linear. The steering block is made of graphite-mixed resin. The A-arm eliminates the need for a hub carrier, significantly reducing the unsprung weight and improving maneuverability. By changing the shock lever ratio, using new suspension arms, and reconfiguring the springs and stabilizers, the suspension is set up in a way that is incomparably more flexible than ever before, allowing for cornering with less sense of stalling. The use of A-arms has simplified the area around the steering block, and by making use of space, the mounting position of the lower part of the damper has been moved significantly outward, increasing the shock working length relative to the suspension stroke. Yokomo shocks and springs ensure a low center of gravity, while the graphite lower suspension arms have also been significantly lighter, and the suspension materials are generally a little softer than previous models. The spring is also set softer in line with the change in lever ratio, and traction is gained with high efficiency by making effective use of the damper stroke. The rear suspension arms are also A-arms. Despite their simple structure, they can also be equipped with toe control, allowing for a wider range of alignment adjustments. The graphite main chassis has been designed to be slightly slim with minimal hollowing out. Not only is it suitable for use on a variety of road surfaces, but it also places less strain on the tires due to the regulations requiring controlled tires, giving you an advantage during the race.
